Spent most of today outdoors. We walked (and ran) around Thanksgiving Point Gardens this morning, rode bikes and played out front with neighbors, and blew up the pool and swam out back. I do enjoy the flexibility of summer, but am I the only one who has a hard time with such a change from a strict schooltime routine? I really struggle when my preschool schedule ends for the summer. I think I just need to create and stick to a good productive summer schedule.

Gave the lil guy his first haircut today...not too much, just a little off the top and sides. He grinned and cooed at me the whole time. I love that my ghetto camera finally did not red-eye and I caught his gorgeous blue eyes.

He is such a cuddlebug. He loves to snuggle and rock in the rocking chair with his cheek right next to mine. I can tell he's happy being snuggled when he turns his head, buries it in my neck then comes back up, and gives me a big slobbery kiss. He's a keeper.

Puts up with his bro and sis' craziness

Loves his Daddy

Some of our many outings to Thanksgiving Point...including one with Lyns/Peach/Caden and an awesome picnic by the waterfall

Both kids watch Dad studying scriptures every morning and now love to "mark" their own scriptures...Carter finds all his sight words from preschool

We finally got our garden prepared and planted. The kids and I picked out veggies with the Glaziers and Peach and Lynsey helped us put together an incredible landscape...that's a whole post in of itself...coming soon
