Tyson's sweet cousin, Michelle, and her 4 young kids lost their husband and daddy yesterday. My heart is so full for them. I have been thinking about how poignant conference was this past weekend falling on Easter Sunday and the repeating theme of mothers. I can't help but think that our Father knew that Michelle would need these messages as she moves forward. I think especially of Elder Hallstrom's talk about turning to the Lord. He said, "In the most difficult circumstances of life, there is often only one source of peace...The Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, extends His grace with this invitation, 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me … and ye shall find rest unto your souls'" (Matthew 11:28-29
I KNOW that our Savior suffered our pains and sorrows and can give us rest. I KNOW that HE rose again and SO SHALL WE. I KNOW that our living prophet KNOWS our FATHER and HIS SON and KNOWS how to counsel us. I KNOW that we can personally supplicate our FATHER and receive guidance and comfort. I KNOW that families sealed in holy temples can be together FOREVER. What peace this knowledge brings. I am GRATEFUL for my blessings and especially my testimony.

Oh no! That is absolutely tragic. It brings such peace when a loved one is lost, esp a loved one who is young with a young family, to know that the Lord is standing there ready to help. Wanting to help and he has already put down a perfect plan to reunite families. Our prayers are with your cousin.
