I spent much of Christmas break nesting, cleaning, organizing and getting ready for Kimball's arrival and thought there wasn't much more to be done....until I had time to think this morning as I lay in a hospital bed in pre-term labor and realized that I had not gone through any pictures of Christmas or New Years and the next pictures to be gone through would very likely be of Kimball. So....after being given the special shot to stop contractions and getting to hear Kimball's solid heartbeat on the monitor for 2 hours, I am now home and trying to catch up on the things I had neglected to do before Kimball really does make his appearance.

And before we add another boy to our little family, I just have to say how much we adore big brother Carter. The other night Ty & were watching the TCU/BSU game and Carter came in to tell us he wanted to check on Taylee. He went in to her room where she was sleeping, checked on her, and then reported to us that she was alright. A few minutes later he disappeared again and I heard water running from the kitchen. I went to investigate and found him washing the dishes. I was blown away. Tyson asked him why he was washing the dishes and he said "so Mom doesn't have to because she has Kimball in her tummy."
He is such a good older brother and sweet son. We love you bud!

Oh man, scary preterm labor! Stay in there kiddo a few more weeks!! Did you have any complications with Tay or was she full term?
