Father's Day

What a special Father's Day we had this year. Jamin, Shanda and the boys were here along with Oma and Opa. We woke up and had a big breakfast of pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. Then we all went to church together. Tyson and I are nursery leaders in our new ward and had made little dough handprints with all the kids. They were so excited to give them to their dads. I had also made handprints of Taylee and Carter with a little poem for Tyson for Father's Day. Earlier in the week, Sara and I took Carter and Taylee to kiddiekandids to get a picture of them together to surprise Tyson with, but Carter kept pushing Taylee off his leg and she would scream. Finally, we just had the employee crop Carter's best smile and Taylee's best smile and put them in a montage together. We also gave it to Tyson for Father's Day. Afer church, we had a yummy dinner of pulled pork sandwiches and banana pudding. Then, we went on a walk along the Jordan River walkway to a fun park where we played for an hour. It was beautiful outside. Thank you Tyson for being such a wonderful Daddy to our little angels. Thank you Dad and Opa for being such great fathers to me and Ty. We are very blessed to have such great men in our lives!

These are the pics that didn't quite work work out

Here's the recipe for the dough handprints. It's pretty easy to do and they turned out really nice. Krista found this on another girl's blog.

The only picture I got of our Sunday walk before the batteries died in my camera.

Hey! Sounds like you had a fun Father's day! I love your hand prints... when I was looking at them, I thought, I need her to tell me how she did that, then I scrolled down.. Yay.. Thanks for the instructions! Your family is soooo cute! I hope to see you soon. Let me know if you ever make it down this way!
