Carter's Haircut

BEFORE

So, among the stressful and disappointing things we've dealt with these past couple weeks, Carter had a bad haircut. Tyson and I took him to Great Clips where I've taken him many times before. A young girl that's done a great job with him before was there, but had a wait-so we went with an older woman I'd never seen there before. I explained to her that I wanted short on the sides and LONG on top. Carter sat on Tyson's lap during the cut and started crying almost immediately. The lady put a cover on Tyson...but NOTHING on Carter-so hair was going all over him as she pulled out the buzzers. She did the sides first and then proceeded to BUZZ the top! I reminded her AGAIN that I wanted it LONG on top and she totally ignored me and kept on buzzing. The whole time, Carter was screaming and Tyson was trying to call him down. Usually, the ladies use scissors on top and he is just fine. She kept pulling out different sizes of buzzers and doing her own little haircut-nothing like what we wanted. She even chastised Tyson at one point and told him to calm down...I was so upset. You just don't mess with an already emotional pregnant woman. I told her I should have just done it myself at home at walked out with my son totally covered in his own hair. Tyson, being the nice guy he is, stayed in and paid her but I did not feel it was a haircut we should've paid for. I hope his hair grows back soon...I miss all his fun hair.
