More Catch-up

Again, I've waited too long in between posts and much has changed. Our house in Traverse Mountain fell through a few days before closing. Too many mechanics liens were popping up and the seller was in the hole on the deal, so he paid us to drop the contract. We decided it was for the best and began searching again. After two disappointing days, our "dream" house came on the market and we are now under contract to close on May 1st. It is in Lehi, just across the highway from Traverse Mountain. It's in a little community called Cranberry Farms by Ivory Homes. We really like the couple who is selling the home and they have taken great care of it. It was finished in November, so they've only lived there 5 months. We love the upgrades they've put into it and especially that they're leaving ALL appliances for us...we can't wait to move in! The basement is unfinished but insulated, so there's lots of space for guests...hint hint :) We're excited to get to plan and finish the basement the way we'd like in the future. I'm already dreaming of how I'd like my preschool room to be and Tyson his theater room. The sod will be left for us to lay, but Peach and Lynsey are going to help us come up with a good landscape design (He's a landscape management major at the Y). Hopefully, everything goes as planned and the baby waits until we're moved in...though we're excited to meet her whenever she's ready.
