So, I've been seeing everyone's posts about their BLURB books and I am really jealous. They look so great. I've tried numerous times to download the booksmart program and start working, but it seems so slow on my computer...and it's taking forever. But I have hope that I will finish and get 2007 done before it's 2009...Agh!
Until I get that family journal done, I've had fun working on a few projects for Carter and Taylee's life documentation. I set up personal private blogs for each of them a month ago and been fairly good about just popping on whenever something funny, sad, or bad, or just whatever happens. One of my friends posts about all the mishaps her sons get into and I started doing it with Carter...it really takes the edge off and helps me see his innocence if I write about it right after. I'm hoping to have him start contributing soon and then someday I'll BLURB it for him ( and one for Taylee too)
.
Anyway-back to the title of the post. Jumpcut.com & MyPublisher.com are currently two of my favorite sites. I had Carter's first year DVDs all finished by the time he was 18 months old. Taylee is almost 15 months old so I've got to book it. Jumpcut.com is totally making that possible. I don't have to take up any extra space on my computer and I can cut, edit, include audio and other fun options on a photoshow DVD of her first life. I'm almost finished with all the photos of her life and I can't wait to get started on all the videos of that first year...birth video, here I come (I still haven't been able to sit through the whole thing). I may not be big into scrapbooking-but my kids will have documentation of their lives.
