Texas Part 2

I'm not sure what day in Texas this was taken, but it's my little babydoll being a sweet doll

Something I really loved about our Texas trip: lots of desserts! Here's Naners being the master banana splitter

Sea World

We spent an entire day at Sea World San Antonio (thanks Caleb for the free tickets...he's a lifeguard there...hehe). Once again, it was a bit of a struggle with the kiddos. Taylee wasn't lovin' the heat and Carter was a little too short for the rides Annie and Grace could go on. He did get to ride the teacups and a little monkey "scream" ride. There was a little foam playground in a shaded area that we were more than happy to let the kids roam around in. Krista and I spent quite awhile trying to find a mother's lounge...turns out Sea World is not so supportive of nursing mothers. Luckily, there was a very air conditioned and very dark aquarium with seats we found to nurse in instead.

The Shamu show was a hit...especially the cotton candy and lemonades with Shamu toppers. I don't know how many pictures you can take of Shamu...but I think I was up there. Whales are pretty amazing creatures.

Carter wore his little monkey backpack (leash) on his front like he was hugging it. He loved his Shamu topper and straw. He sure is a cute kid!

Grandma and Grandpa were so sweet to hold Taylee almost the entire day. Here's Grandpa keeping Taylee happy while I helped get seats at the Shamu show

After the Shamu show, the kids were basically worn out, so Grandma and Grandpa were so sweet and took all the kids home while Sara, Marissa, McKayla, Janae & Craig, and I stayed to ride roller coasters. After 2 coasters, it started pouring (that's how Texas is). We had a blast riding the coasters in the pouring rain. The rain pelts you a little when you're going that fast, but it was an adventure. Most people were leaving, so we basically just walked onto the rides...no wait! Here's a pic of us totally soaked...and freezing when we got home.

Caleb's Court of Honor

Caleb got had his Eagle Court of Honor while we were in town. It was fun to see my little bro (well, "little" is not the correct word....younger bro) get his eagle. It's been a long time since I've seen both my younger brothers together...boy how they've grown into great men. The speaker was a retired air force colonel...a find of my Dads. Caleb did a great job

My two tall brothers..what handsome dudes

Caleb giving Mom and Dad their pins

Taylee slept on Grandma almost the entire Court of Honor

Refreshments...yum

So, we figured out that Carter will be the next Eagle Scout in the Lundeen family...crazy! He has some good uncles and Dad as examples
