Taylee's blessing

Taylee Mei was blessed by her Dad Sunday, July 1, 2007 in the Pointe Meadows First Ward. After sacrament meeting, Grandma and Grandpa Hall, Lynette and Dan Dyer and their boys, Katie Crowton, and Lynsey and Peach King came over for lunch. We had pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, and chips. It was so fun to spend time with family and celebrate Taylee's blessing.

Later that evening, the Kearns side of the family came over for dinner. We had fun chatting, playing, and making microwave smores with the kids. Carter loved getting to know Micheal and Michelle Pitcher family. It was so good to see them again. Here are the kids enjoying smores (and cleaning up the mess afterwards) and playing together.

Carter's Room

While Oma was here, she helped me rearrange Carter's room. He loves it! It is just perfect for him. A place for all his stories and toys, a place for reading with Mom and Dad, a computer station and desk, a cozy bed and stuffed animal nets.

Landscaping

We never imagined putting in our own landscaping could be such a hassle. Here are some pics of the bobcat and trencher. We've had some friends help us get the sprinkler system in and we should be able to lay the sod next Friday.

Boys will be Boys

Tyson and his sales guys had a BBQ at our house one evening. Along with the Wii games, they decided to play a game of "dare" and dared Chase to keep his head in a cooler of ice for 1 minute. He made it 18 seconds and came out looking like this:

I think he earned $4.50 for freezing his skull. Silly boys.

Barefoot in the Park

We have a beautiful park by our home called Olympic Park. We walk along the Jordan River to get there...the view is gorgeous.
